Connecticut is home to some of the world's largest and most successful hedge funds. At the 2008 Global Alpha Forum, a privileged group of investors will be invited to participate in the "GREEN HEDGE TRAIL" an organized tour set up by the Connecticut Hedge Fund Association and Opalesque. The GREEN HEDGE TRAIL is an invitation-only event for qualified institutional investors. Institutional investors will spend about 1:15 hours on the premises of each fund, meeting founders, partners and the heads of the key operational units. The Global Alpha Forum's GREEN HEDGE TRAIL is a worldwide unique concept. It is time-efficient for both the allocator and the fund manager group; the investor group will enjoy the added benefit of a nice scenic ride and spending "quality-time" with their peers. Each participating investor will have the opportunity to schedule private follow-up meetings.
