| Tuesday, September 16th: 1:30pm - 2:30pm The Rise of Sovereign Wealth Funds Government-owned investment pools, known as Sovereign Wealth Funds, are currently
larger than the total assets under management by hedge funds or private equity funds
and are growing at a much faster pace than either. Investment by these funds in a
wide range of key U.S. businesses is raising a host of concerns, ranging from investment
protectionism, national security concerns and potential market distortions and volatility.
Our panel will debate the benefits and concerns related to these growing investment pools. |

from regulators worldwide. Concerns exist as to the funds’ ability to move markets and as to the lack
of transparency related to many funds’ investments. A variety of regulators and advisors will explore
the issues, along with possible solutions and likely developments. |

strategies and concerns when managing their portfolios. Learn how they view their asset allocation
responsibilities and the role that alternative investments play in these strategies. Investors
can gain tips as to how to manage like the institutions while fund managers develop insights into
how to position their funds to be attractive to these managers.
